Wild & Wagyu

We turned a national park's biggest problem into a beast of a burger.

Created in partnership with the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation and WITHWILD, Wild & Wagyu brings together WITHWILD Fiordland venison and premium New Zealand wagyu in one seriously good limited-edition burger. The result: a rich, juicy flavour profile that combines the distinctive character of wild venison with the indulgence of wagyu.

The Wild & Wagyu patty is topped with melted brie, toasted almonds, poached NZ pears, crisp rocket, sweet BurgerFuel Plum Sauce and BurgerFuel Aioli.

Wild Heart was Chapter One, supporting the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation's hunter-led deer management programme across 190,000 hectares of the Wapiti Area.

Chapter Two sees Wild & Wagyu back the Foundation as it extends that world-leading work across the wider Fiordland National Park through the Fiordland Project – designed to fund conservation, manage deer responsibly, and return wild protein to New Zealanders through a crowd-funded manufacturing plant in Te Anau.

Behind every patty is WITHWILD, the partner that ethically recovers Fiordland's wild venison, funds the helicopter operations that get it out, and gives back to the conservation work that protects its home.

$1 from every Wild & Wagyu sold is donated to the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation and the Fiordland Project.

Every Wild & Wagyu sold enters you into the draw to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two to the rugged wilderness of Fiordland. Includes an epic helicopter ride into the Fiordland National Park, a feed at Lake Thompson Hut, a guided George Sound Track walk from the team at the Fiordland Wapiti Foundation, two nights stay and dinner in Te Anau.

Somewhere, David Attenborough is whispering "remarkable" under his breath.

Wild & Wagyu. An absolute beast. Available for a limited time.
