G-Shock x Haser

Our long time friend of the Fuel has notched another hole in his watch strap as he brought to life another epic collaboration. Over the years we have watched Haser steer the wheel of opportunity as he navigates his way through the art world. From corporate giants and international art festivals, Haser continues to sift out unique and epic collabs.

Before Santa got an opportunity to come down the chimney, Haser and G-Shock NZ snuck in one last gift for the Xmas wish list. The middle of December saw them launch, release and sell out their collaboration, bringing in interest from local and international G-Shock collectors.

When the opportunity presented itself to Haser, he saw an opening to do something different, to change the function of the product; from a wrist watch to a piece of art. With the backbone of this collab tandem to the urban culture of graffiti art, Haser took this opportunity to exhibit the watch in the iconic “Fire Extinguisher box” a common tool used in the world of graffiti and street art culture.

The launch of this collaboration took place at ‘Loaded', Auckland’s long time premium and high end urban outlet. Guests to this private function were treated to a night of tunes from another one of our talented friends DJ Scizzorhands, as well a complimentary ring watch on entry and of course, Burgers and Gourmet Sides from ya local neighbourhood favourite.
