A bit about yourself (where did you grow up, how did you get into machines, do you do it solo or with mates etc.):
Been a machine head since a child, grew up around Hot rods with my dad’s mate “Uncle Quincey”. At 12yo I was hanging around with my older sister’s boyfriend rolling around in his modified Kp60 starlet and was introduced to Japanese tuners through him. Had a love for old ford falcon’s, hot-rod’s and slowly fell in love with the idea of rotaries.
Bought my first car at 14, it never left the driveway, just learnt how to do burnouts. Had a couple more driveway ponies including the ford escort which I restored and is still sitting in the garage. Then got my first road legal car, a Mazda interplay familia. This was the first car I modded with wheel’s, lowering and ridiculous sounds, The Cruiser. Then it started, there was many cars to come, modding them with friends, late night installing sound set ups was my go-to. Had to have the thump in the trunk. As a panel beater I got into buying, modding/fixing up cars for a profit so I could buy my dream car which I finally acquired 2 of them at 20yo haha. One was my drift car, one was the streeter. So also spent some time slangin’ cars sideways too.
Now, your pride and joy…

What's unique or interesting about the car or how did you become to own it?
I bought the car close to how you see it today, but it was absolutely goosed! I have spent the last 3.5years rebuilding it and making it exactly how I want it. In the time I’ve owned it, I blew up the factory engine, pulled the 13b from my drift car had CROMAZ from Australia come over to build and port the engine, and put on the new turbo set up in.
Few years back I thought I would give her the birthday she needed; I opened many cans of worms. At some stage someone must had of wrapped it around a pole, bent chassis, insanely bad repairs. I had my work cut out for me, so using my skillsets. I stripped it down to a shell and repaired each piece of the car properly piece by piece, New structural work, chassis straightened thanks to Moselle Panel and Paint. I decided no bolt would go unreplaced or at least checked and cleaned.
Engine came out for an engine bay freshen-up and new turbo cooling set up thanks to DKM fabrication. The computer needed replacing, So the “while I’m here” approach got taken. New custom coils, computer, alternator, plumbing, wiring. Basically, everything’s beefed up with upgrades.
Basically, every corner of this car has been either replaced, cleaned and/or painted.
What’s your dream machine, if it’s not this one:
This always was my dream car of 3. The other two are a candy red ‘64 SS impala Lowrider (hit ‘dem switches) and a 64 Shelby AC Cobra S/C mk3.
