Welcome to the BurgerFuel garage, Nissan R35 GTR

BurgerFuel has officially welcomed a new machine to the fleet, unveiling a custom Nissan R35 GT-R at this year’s GTR Festival.

Wrapped in a deep Midnight Purple-inspired finish and sitting on bronze Rays TE37 wheels, the GTR blends iconic JDM styling with unmistakable BurgerFuel attitude. Packing around 650 horsepower, it's every bit as serious as it looks. Inside, the car features a custom sound system and even a built-in PS5 gaming setup, giving fans something extra to enjoy when the car appears at events.

For years, BurgerFuel’s Machines collection has been dominated by classics and muscle cars, but it was time to add something from the world of Japanese performance. The R35 GTR was the perfect choice - an icon of JDM culture and one of the most respected performance cars ever built.

The GTR made its public debut at GTR Festival, where BurgerFuel proudly sponsored the Cab Stop - the area where festivalgoers lined up for passenger rides in some of the event’s most exciting cars. Seeing the smiles on so many faces as they climbed out of the cars was a highlight of the weekend, especially the young guy celebrating his 16th birthday, who got to experience the festival from the passenger seat of some seriously impressive machinery.

This is just the beginning for BurgerFuel’s newest machine, so keep an eye out for the GT-R at future events, shows and activations around New Zealand.
