Meet the Crew - Rebecca

How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel?

To be honest I was looking to get out of the hospitality business when I left my previous job I was looking around when my brother asked if I would be keen to work to at Burgerfuel with him and it changed my view of hospitality and I fell in love with the brand.

What was the thing that attracted you the most to BurgerFuel?

The cars for sure I had seen the Cuda a lot in town and it seemed like a really fun place to work I knew a lot a of people from Highschool and I loved the dynamic and banter going on with everyone

What is one of the greatest opportunities BurgerFuel has given you?

My favorite would be getting to help take BurgerFuel on the road to Beach hop we had the perfect spot for watching the cars and I got to meet some really cool people working in the container. I've also had the pleasure of being apart of Devilskin x Burgerfuel and I got to see their Hamilton show for free!!

What would you say to a potential individual who is looking to work at BF?

Do It!!!! The opportunities are endless and the skills I have developed working here I will continue to talk about and use for the rest of my life BurgerFuel encourages you to express your ideas, be creative and be yourself. I've meet some of my best friends working here too, getting to show up to work and have fun with cool people can feel like not working at all sometimes.

What motivates and makes you proud to represent BurgerFuel brand?

Our commitment to quality, being told we make the best burgers in town can be very rewarding. Burgerfuel also supports their workers in more ways then just giving them  a job they are pushed to be themselves, be heard and are given praise from higher ups when a job is well done it feels good to represent a brand that’s takes care of the people behind it and the customers.

What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being part of the store staff?

There are tons of perks that BurgerFuel offer like Masterclasses, Manager bites and concert tickets!!!  But my favorite would be the countless events and launch party's I've been apart off.

What is your go to Burger?

I go through phases but my favorite at the moment is the BBQ Bacon Roadster something about the BBQ sauce always keeps me coming back

What kind of things are you into outside of BurgerFuel?

I enjoy socializing over a few drinks and catching up with friends its always fun to discover new places and meet new people

What’s your go-to song on shift?

Any  Micheal Jackson song but my go too will always be ‘The way you make me feel’ it never misses

Who is your BurgerFuel idol?

It would have to be my highflyer brother Nicolas King-McRae  he is also the reason I have the job in the first place he insisted I come see the dynamic at Burgerfuel and it did not disappoint
