Speed and Custom Kumeu Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival 2022

BurgerFuel brought the heat to a packed three-day Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival, serving up burgers, showcasing their iconic fleet, and soaking in the sun with fellow car lovers. With everything from retro markets to FMX shows, it was a high-octane celebration of classic culture.

What a weekend!

With a drive in movie night, swap & trade sites, indoor & outdoor car displays, vintage caravan park, live music, trade shows, camping, freestyle motocross, pedal cars, retro beauty pageants, Retro-O-Rama market, kids entertainment and so, so much more. This three day Festival is where the Classic Car and Hot Rod community come together to celebrate all things Classic Car/Hot Rod related or to just catch up with their mates while enjoying the rumbling of the Cars and adding one or two to their wish list.

It was yet another hot summers day for our crew who pumped out the burgers (and sold out!), chatted to fellow car fanatics and listened to live music in the sun!

Once again we had our fleet of the 72' Ford Fairmont, 64' Buick Riviera, and the 65' Dodge Coronet on show.

The new show hours worked well this year (Friday 1pm-7pm; Saturday 7am-6pm; Sunday 8am-1pm) – with Sunday now being half a day it gave time for vendors to pack down and get on their way.

Our plan for next year is to camp out with our whole crew all weekend so we can join in on the night time banter / cruising - what will you be cruising by in?
