Meet the Crew - Manpreet

How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel?
I first got involved with Burger Fuel in 2018 when I was looking for a job that would offer more than just a paycheck. I wanted to work at a place where I could grow, have fun and be part of a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. One night while going through job advertisement online, I saw that BurgerFuel was hiring crew members, I immediately applied for that position, not knowing that it would turn into something so meaningful.

What was the thing that attracted you to the most to Burgerfuel?
The culture! BurgerFuel has this mix of creativity, individuality and passion and it’s not just an average fast-food job. It’s a 100% vibe. The music, the people and food and the feel of the whole store just stood out to me. It feltlike a place where personality, creativity and passion were part of the job.

What is the one of the greatest opportunities BurgerFuelhas given you?
BurgerFuel has helped me to step out of my comfort zone and build confidence in customer service and teamwork. BurgerFuel has also given me the opportunity to grow into leadership. As in 2018, I started as a crew member and then got trained as a night shift manager and now I have been running the store as a manager since 2020. I have learnt how to stay cool under pressure, communicate better, work with people from all walks of life and build a culture that Burgerfuel stands for.

What would you say to a potential individual who is looking to work at BF?
I would say, just do it. If you are looking for a place that values who you are and lets you grow while having a blast, BurgerFuel is it. You will learn a lot, you will grow fast, you will meet people who are supportive. You will see there is always room to level up. It’s hard work but it is rewarding in every way.

What motivates and makes you proud to represent the BurgerFuel?
I am proud to represent a brand that genuinely cares about its food, people, and its values. BurgerFuel isn’t afraid to be bold whether that’s in flavours or in the way we treat people. I love being part of a team that brings personality to everything we do. The pride comes from knowing, we don’t just serve burgers we serve an experience. I love repping a brand that stays true to its roots and stands out from the crowd.

What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being the store staff?
I always tell them how awesome the team is, it really feels like second family. The energy is unmatched, the music is always pumping, the perks like staff meals and flexible hours make a difference. You are not just clocking in – you are a part of something cool!
