Tell us a bit about you and your story, what’s your background, where did you grow up etc?
Originally from the Philippines, I worked as a pastry chef before moving to New Zealand. Now I proudly call myself a Kiwi. My first job in New Zealand was at Sierra Café, but my longest stint has been with Best Ugly Bagels. While working full-time, I also held a part-time role at BurgerFuel Johnsonville for five years and that’s where I met Paul Longley. One day, Paul offered me an opportunity to co-own BurgerFuel Lower Hutt. I said YES, absolutely! Now, here I am, running my own BurgerFuel store.
