Meet Hughesy

Franchisees Mark (aka Hughesy) is one smooth operators that knows he's got a winning combination with BurgerFuel Pt Chev and BurgerFuel Parnell. 

Mark took over BurgerFuel Parnell in November 2018 and then brand new store Pt Chev, not long after and JUST after lockdown in 2020. Despite the challenges that the hospitality industry faced at this time, Mark's stores flourished.

This could be in part due to his warm personality and sound leadership which fosters a strong, positive in-store vibe, and in part due to his experience in the BurgerFuel Head Office Operations team. Mark's operational knowledge is next level and he understands the importance of ensuring consistency and quality of product leaving his kitchens.

Mark continues to build local partnerships at a grass-roots level, from sports teams, to schools and businesses. "It’s really exciting, we’re wanting to tie strongly into both communities”, Hughes states. Parnell works closely with local businesses, offices, and anyone in need of a large order. His stores set the example of how to deliver BurgerFuel catering exceptionally well.

This guy runs a tight ship, is 100% hands on and works in both stores around the clock. Not to mention his roll of Dad to a bunch of ratbags.
