HQ Masterclass #12

BurgerFuel’s Good Bastards initiative continues to celebrate the staff who go above and beyond in our stores.

BurgerFuel teams around the country regularly nominate their own Good Bastards, that’s pure recognition for the people who help out and make tough days better. From those nominations, a handful are randomly chosen to join us for HQ Masterclass; an all-expenses-paid 2-day experience that gives our teams a closer look behind the brand.

The Winners

What went down

The day kicked off with a warm welcome at BurgerFuel HQ, a quick tour, and the chance to meet some of the faces behind the scenes. From there, the crew headed out for some friendly competition at Sweet Axe Throwing Co, where plenty of laughs (and a few surprise bullseyes) set the tone for the day.

After working up an appetite, they made their way to Sachi’s Kitchen for a hands-on cooking class — learning new techniques and taking their cheffing skills well beyond the world of smashed, juicy burgers.

Day two began with a laid-back breakfast, before diving into a full day of creativity and connection. The group got behind the camera for a Food Photoshoot 101 session, tested out their “tattoo” skills on bananas and fruit (they make surprisingly good practice skin), toured our Satellite Kitchen for a peek into our famous Aioli production, and wrapped things up with a prizegiving.

The evening finished with dinner, plenty of stories, and a few well-deserved toasts to the people who make BurgerFuel what it is.
