Every month we shout burgers to the legends among us who give back to their community or help people in need.
This month, we want to give a shout out to the team at The Cake Detective for their incredible work and dedication to spreading joy and hope through the art of cakes, to kids going through a tough.
The Cake Detective donate delicious birthday and celebration cakes for children facing hardships, ensuring that every child feels celebrated and loved, no matter their circumstances. The children are often going through the toughest of times, be it serious illness, trauma, abuse or poverty. This small kind gesture lets them know that they are loved and valued by their community.
Since being founded in 2019, The Cake Detective team have been able to help over 3,500 children be celebrated and feel extra special. This is all done with the help from their wonderful volunteers, who work tirelessly to ensure that the cakes are personal to each child and expertly made in house by their talented team.
