On this episode of Extra Dipping Sauce, we catch up with Auckland based artist Berst. Berst has been a force in the graffiti scene for almost 2 decades, his dedication, commitment and love for the culture has seen him rise as one of the most important names in modern graffiti. Parallel to his career as a graffiti artist, Berst has finished up his studies with a PHD in education, earning him the title Dr Bobby Hung. Throughout this episode he discusses his Chinese descent and growing up in Aotearoa, finding a home in the graffiti culture as well as documenting it, quitting his job as a Senior Lecturer to pursue a full-time career in the arts, as well as starting a family.
