Think Inside the Box

Every now and then I have a stupid idea, like when I decided to live inside a 3x3m perspex box in the middle of town(Auckland) for 5 days. It was a very interesting experience, creating artwork in an enclosed area for 5 days whilst dealing with Auckland City and all its glory. All in all, I persevered through it all and made it out on day 5, (slightly a little more insane). The purpose of this was to exhibit and communicate the temporary life of Street Art. All of the work I created was taken down on day 5, which meant that if you didn't see it or document it, you simply missed out. This is very evident with the art on the streets, what is there in the morning, can simply be gone by the evening, leaving nothing but a patch of paint.
