What is Ping Zero? It's a 24hr gaming session, where 400 gamers set their computers up on the basketball courts at the North Shore Event Centre and battle each other on popular games for 24 hours straight! All for the pride and the title of being crowned the Ping Zero champion. It was a total geek fest, but we're all about it!...and they LOVED IT! With $3,000 cash prize to be won from the hosts, this attracted some pretty mean players from around Auckland.
BurgerFuel had a sweet chill out area set up for when the gamers needed a break… not to mention our 1964 Buick parked inside on the basketball court surrounded by computers. To top it off we had our BurgerFuel girls feed these dudes! They delivered 200 burgers to the hungry gamers, posed for photos and got some tips on how to play from the pros.
