Kumeu Classic Car and Hot Rod Show

You know that feeling when you’re out somewhere and it just feels right? Like you’re home!?! Well, that’s how we felt when we spent all weekend at the 22nd National Classic Car and Hot Rod Festival in Kumeu! It’s the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere – so it’s fair to say it’s a pretty big deal. And our very own Johnny Promo was one of the original founding members of the event, which makes it that little bit more special for us here at BurgerFuel.

It’s got it all; a swap-meet, show and shine, a carnival setup and sweet sweet rides as far as the eyes could see. Ranging from classics to rust buckets, custom, original or chopped, we were in petrol head paradise!

Not that we need much of a reason, but it was a great excuse for us to re-assemble part of our purple fleet in one spot and put them on display for all to see.  We had our ‘72 Ford Fairmont, ’72 HQ Holden, ’86 GMC Caballero, and our latest addition, our ’64 Buick. Beauty!
