BURGERFUEL OPENS NUMBER SIX IN CHRISTCHURCH

Posted by BurgerFuel

Burger loving residents of Christchurch are celebrating the arrival of the 6th BurgerFuel for the city. Located on iconic Colombo Street, in the central suburb of Sydenham.

The opening closely follows the unveiling of the new BurgerFuel Whangaparaoa store, just north of Auckland city centre last month, as well as the opening of a third BurgerFuel outlet for Egypt, in the city of Giza.

The new Sydenham store sits on a prime site, in the very centre of the thriving suburb that plays home to a well-established, and busy retail strip. Thousands of workers come into the area each day to work in the nearby industrial zone, joining a large community of local residents, who will no longer have to travel to nearby suburbs to get their BurgerFuel fix.

General Manager of BurgerFuel Australasia, Craig Notman comments; “We opened our first BurgerFuel outlet in Christchurch in January 2014 and had an overwhelmingly great response. Now, almost three years down the track, demand has seen us get to six restaurants across Christchurch, and the response remains just as positive. We’ve got a huge, loyal, gourmet burger mad fan base in Christchurch and we appreciate the support that we’ve had right across Canterbury”.

BurgerFuel Sydenham has been opened with local resident, and existing BurgerFuel franchisees, Daniel and Natasha Chima, who also own BurgerFuel Hereford Street and BurgerFuel Papanui. They have hired 16 local staff to help serve up the fresh, natural gourmet burgers in store and deliver the signature, high-energy BurgerFuel experience.

Daniel Chima comments; “It’s awesome to be getting involved in yet another Christchurch community, and to give local residents even easier access to BurgerFuel. Opening three stores in less than 18 months has been hard work, but I have a great team of local talent working alongside me, and we’re excited to get the BurgerFuel party started in Sydenham”.

BurgerFuel Sydenham will be open for trading as of Monday 7th November 2016;
Sun – Thu 11am – 10pm, Fri – Sat 11am – late
Unit E, 290 Colombo St, Sydenham, Christchurch
