Dog with a BLOG!

Holy Mackerel! So here we are! ha ha! As this is my first post, as Jay Z would say "Allow me to re-introduce myself…" My name's Haimona Ngata, and I'm the BMX rider for Burgerfuel. A real quick rundown of my life, up to 2013: 33 years young, grew up in Gisbourne, spent most of my youth surfing and not going to school. Started riding BMX at 13 years old, as a way to get to school, never stopped peddling since. Bluffed my way into film and television school in 1997, moved to Christchurch. Studied, partied, and rode BMX. 2001 moved to Auckland to get a job, started working as a video editor. 2003, Somehow, got sponsored for BMX, rode in a couple of competitions, did really bad, thought contests is probably not my thing, just rode for the hell of it. Sponsors thought that was great, kept supporting me. Joined BurgerFuel in 2005, and it's been AMAZING ever since. These days, I split my time between riding, and being a professional cinematographer, running my own business based out of Devonport on Auckland's North Shore. Clients include RedBull, TV3, PUMA, Vans, to name a few. I live in Belmont on the North Shore, with the misses and our lil nugget, Harmony Brooke, who's 5 years old, but acts like she's 15. Needless to say my wallet is constantly empty. Ha ha! So here's a couple of pics, the first couple are of my sweet Subrosa BMX, with a custom BurgerFuel paintjob! So stoked on how the paintjobs come out! A couple of how the majority of my days look at my office! Computers and camera gear! And the ULTIMATE mega feed! ha ha! I'm a vegetarian, so it's PERFECT that BurgerFuel serves up the mega veggie burgers!! Also the lil person is SUPER stoked on the kids meals! Primo!
