Burgerfuel Opens Two New Stores

BurgerFuel had two reasons to celebrate this week, with two new stores opening in New Zealand on the same day, in Auckland’s Takanini, and Papanui in Christchurch.  The double opening takes the company’s global total to 79 stores across six countries.

BurgerFuel Papanui is the second, highly anticipated store in the South Island and has been opened by lifelong Cantabrians, Daniel and Natasha Chima. Located in the iconic and longstanding Papanui food strip, the area is a large catchment destination for multiple surrounding suburbs and BurgerFuel has been warmly welcomed by locals who have been travelling to BurgerFuel Riccarton to get their fix.

The Takanini store has been opened by existing franchisee Mark Walsdorf, a BurgerFuel success story who owns six other stores in the Auckland region. Located in a high visibility area with parking directly outside, the store will be a convenient option for local BurgerFuel fans who have been making the drive further afield for some time.

General Manager of BurgerFuel Australasia, Craig Notman comments, “Our NZ expansion continues on - we’re excited to have an additional South Island store and to be adding to our footprint in Southern Auckland”.

BurgerFuel Papanui is located at 483 Papanui Road, Papanui.
BurgerFuel Takanini is located at 254 Great South Road, Takanini.
